Unless I missed it somehow, I cannot see a long walk on the programme this year.
Never mind, a couple days ago I spotted a poster outside the Queen Alexander Hospital Home asking for participants in the Just Walk Charity Challenge.
I'm just about decided to enter for the 60 km walk (other shorter/more sensible distances are available), but I thought I would first ask if any people have any comments/experience of the event?

That was a most enjoyable walk and surprisingly not as muddy as it might have been
Have uploaded the map to gpsies and removed the 4 mile glitch :)

Looks like there is a button to download map to Garmin - I don't have a Garmin so can't test that.

That was a great walk - thank you Clair and Claire.
Two versions to view the route of the walk:
1) link to GPSies - you can fiddle around and maybe view with Google Maps - Earth option gives isometric perspective.

It was mentioned on a recent walk that the Walks Programme on here does not mention the leader's name - which is correct.
But, if you click on Docs and then select the walks programme newsletter, then you can see who's when.
