Steyning Stunner - 30s-50s - Sunday 30th November

It's time to wrap up in your finest fleeces for the return of the Steyning Stunner, an eleven mile loop taking in two steep ascents, a stretch of South Downs Way, Chanctonbury Ring, and Washington. There should be fine views over the Downs, some autumn colour in the beechwoods, and a long muddy stretch; if we’re lucky, a gold pink sky for the final descent back to Steyning, and owls calling at dusk.Lunch is pub grub at the Frankland Arms, Washington, www.franklandarms.co.uk , or bring your own picnic if you prefer.Option of visit to the award winning Steyning Tea Room at the end. http://www.steyningtearooms.co.uk/

N.B Please note earlier 9.30am meeting time at the Level to ensure we have enough daylight. Please bring cars to the Level for 9.30am to ensure everyone has a lift to the start point. Parking in Steyning is at Fletcher’s Croft Car Park, off Vicarage Lane.  Postcode BN44 3XZ. We will need to start walking by 10.15am at the latest. Maya 07906 183 881
