A circular 12 mile walk from Findon taking in Cissbury Ring, Chanctonbury Ring, Steyning, via Stump Bottom and the South Downs Way. Rolling Downland with wonderful views on a clear day; wooded paths and lanes. Very hilly, steep in places.
LUNCH: in Steyning between 60-90 minutes where there is a good choice of tea rooms, cafes and two pubs, or bring a picnic if you prefer.
TRANSPORT: Drivers please bring cars to the south end of Preston Park for 9.45am to ensure that everyone who would like to join us has a lift to the start of the walk, meeting in the rose garden to arrange lifts.
PLEASE NOTE LEADER WILL BE GOING DIRECTLY TO THE WALK START POINT NOT PRESTON PARK.
DIRECTIONS TO WALK START POINT: From Brighton take the A27 to the roundabout at Durrington Cemetery north of Worthing; turning right into the A24 Findon Road.
Turn right into Nepcote Lane from the junction with the A24 and it is then the first turning on the right.
START POINT: The small car parking area on Monarchs Way, Nepcote Green, in Findon. It is approximately 300 metres from the junction with Nepcote Lane.

If you drive directly to the walk start point, please let leader know (Maya 07906 183 881) so we can look out for you. Arrival back at cars at the end of the walk will be between 5-6pm depending on how long we take over lunch in Steyning.
