The weather forecast for Tuesday is beautiful and the flowers should be too.
Peter has volunteered to lead a leisurely walk to enjoy some bluebells, selfheal, cowslips, violets, celandines, etc., solitary bees and bumblebees, brimstones and the other overwintering butterflies and moths. No orchid flowers yet although one might find some orchid leaves as rosettes. Migrant birds are here now too: perhaps a wheatear or two might be seen.
If you wish to join him please see the entry in the Public Walks Programme in order to book a place.
