This leisurely 4.5 miles circular walk over Newtimber Hill has 224m of ascent and descent.
Leaving from the "old A23 cul-de-sac" at Pycombe, we walk up the road and take the footbridge over the A23 to Wayfield Farm Coffee shop for a coffee break.  Suitably refreshed, we amble up to the west facing ridge with stunning views over Poynings and the Downs for a short break to admire the view.
Then open access land to pick up the South Downs way back.  Please see https://my.viewranger.com/track/details/MTY2MzA3NTc%3D for the route.  On Wednesday we may find elusive Autumn Lady's tresses native orchid.
