I walked this route on Monday and the good news is spring has reached the Surrey Hills. This really is too good a walk to miss. The scenery is wonderful, much of the walk is on well drained sand or firm tracks and we even pass a pub used in filming "4 Weddings and A Funeral." Furthermore, we have a decent forecast for Saturday.
The bad news is the March downpours and the April showers have also done their work, so boots will be needed and poles may help if you like a bit of extra stability on a couple of slippy bits!
Full details available in the public walks section- train details as described.
Hope to see you at Brighton Station, but if you are travelling from elsewhere, please text me to let me know you are coming and we will try to look conspicuous so we are easy to spot on route or at the walk start at Deepdene station at 10:26
