We are the Brighton and Hove group of the national Ramblers. Walking and socialising in and around the South East of England.

20s-40s: Devil's Dyke circular Sunday 17th March

A figure of eight walk from Devil's Dyke, heading west in the morning and visiting Newtimber Hill in the afternoon with lunch at the Devil's Dyke pub.

Meet outside the Devil's Dyke Hotel at 11 where I will meet the group. You can take bus no.77 which leaves the pier at 10.30, passing via Churchill Square and Brighton Station arriving at Devil's Dyke for 11. See http://www.buscms.com//uploadedFiles/brightonbuses/tt77-011012.pdf) - buy scratch ticket from shops or keycard to save, or on bus for more). Alternatively pay to park in car park (free for National Trust members)

The walk is a figure of 8 with a slightly shorter loop in the morning to fit with pub lunch times. For bus users, should be able to get the 3.35 bus back or if not the 4.45.

If there are any weather problems, I'll posts announcements here. Current forecast is OK!
