Having pre walked this yesterday , due to the very muddy ,wet conditions ,it made the walking very difficult ,slippery and hazardous. Difficult to divert on to roads so I have decided to cancel and do the walk when conditions are dryer. Apologies, Keith F

Having recently pre walked, just to advise it is pretty muddy and slippery as you might expect on the high weald at this time. Therefore those who use walking sticks please bring them. There are about 5 styles. Also a reminder that parking at the Broadstreet car park (Start point) is very limited and would suggest parking on the London Rd/lane. and walk down. Refreshments at the end of the walk at the Rose and Crown London Rd.

The car park is St Marys Church car park.Thakeham Village. As you come down into Thakeham village the road bends round to the left, where there are some parking spaces. Go past these space towards the Church and the car park is on the left adjacent to the church .

Also According to my iPhone this walk is in fact 7.2 mls, not 6 as stated. however there are only about 3…Continue
