It's time to wrap up in your finest fleeces for the return of the Steyning Stunner, an eleven mile loop taking in two steep ascents, a stretch of South Downs Way, Chanctonbury Ring, and Washington. This Sunday's walk is a beautiful walk through woods and meadows at the foot of the Downs between Ashurst and Ashington. We have permission to park at Ashurst Rec on School Lane (opposite Ashurst CofE school). We will start at 10.25.
Lunch is at the fantastic Red Lion in Ashington (I have also found a picnic site for those who prefer). And after the 8.5 miles, optional afternoon tea at Steyning tea rooms.

Members are invited to a walking holiday in the Cotswolds, based at Cirencester, from Wednesday 13th May to Saturday 16th May 2015. Leaders Sandra & John, and Geoff.
