The Swan Inn, which was temporarily closed has re-opened, so a pub lunch will be available on this walk. The route goes through some beautiful woodland, there's a stunning view from Hesworth Common and if you don't fancy the pub you can picnic by the River Rother.

I've spent the past week in South Wales, on the Gower peninsula. It's a 2 week walking festival, comprising around 70 walks at various times of the day and encompassing many different kinds of walks. I easily found lovely accommodation, and have even had wonderful sunny weather!
