All aboard the Nutbourne Express this Saturday. Train departing Brighton 9:04 ! I pre walked our route on New Years Day and there was a distinct lack of mud! Don't be put off by the distance because this walk has very gentle ascents, not too many stiles and generally good surfaces. You may wish to bring sandwiches or check out the menu at the Barley Mow Walderton before so we can pre-order any food to avoid delays at the bar!

For those coming on this walk we will be catching the 09.32 train from Brighton to Ford /not 09.28 as stated in walks programme (new timetable).

Please join us for a hilly circular walk from East Dean, via Beachy Head and Eastbourne Seafront, returning inland over the Downs. It is one of our favourite downland walks in East Sussex, with wonderful views along the coast and over Eastbourne on a clear day. The route is scenically varied and includes a few short sections of the South Downs Way and Wealdway.
