Wren's Warren car park on the B2026 is quite small. If full, I suggest the Piglets car park back down the road and then walk onto the heath, where there is a wide path up to the start point.
The walk has a number of ups and downs, 4 stiles, one short muddy section, and is 6 miles, taking about 3 hours.

There is an alteration to the train time to London Bridge on Saturday.
The train for London Bridge leaves Brighton Station at 9.32 . This does not call at Preston Park as originally noted, so anyone who hoped to board at Preston Park will now have to go to Brighton Station.
It is not strictly necessary to purchase a Travel Card if returning by Thames Clipper, but the card allows a third off the price, and has the flexibility of returning from Greenwich by the DLR if…

The New Forest Circular is replacing my usual Isle of Wight walk this year, and will be a flat walk of about 8 miles. The day return from Brighton ( or Hove) to Brockenhurst is £13.65 with a railcard, catching the 9.00am South West Trains service from Brighton, changing at Southampton Central.
We will first visit the War Memorial and cemetery to New Zealand WW1 soldiers buried near the church, before walking through woodland. A table has been booked at the Filly Inn for lunch but…

There will be 3 contrasting moderate walks with some short walk options. You will need to book your own accommodation early as it is a popular tourist area.

Hi there
Sorry to bother you - if you even see this! But, Peter Hans (spelling?) has mentioned a few times about getting a digital SLR camera.
I don't have his contact details and might not see him for a while - so if you see him please could you pass on some info?
I just had a quick look and I see that there is a good deal for the Panasonic G3 with 14-42mm lens.
If he gets one and fills out an online form, before January 22nd, he can also get back £45 cashback.
Two good places to try are Jessops or Park Cameras at Burgess Hill - Jessops is a little bit cheaper, but Park Cameras is a better place to shop, in my opinion.Cheers
