Starts at 10:30: The walk will start outside Lewes Station (BN7 2JU, TQ417099)
Finishing point: Lewes Station (BN7 2JU, TQ417099) at about 16.30
A 10 mile circular walk around the Lewes area. Passing a 9th century priory and a hidden valley with the lost village of Balsdean. Steep climb in the morning to the top of the Downs. Lunch at Rodmell (Abergavenny Arms). Returning along the river.

A circular walk around Lewes. Cars not required - train to Lewes. 9th century priory - a hidden valley with a lost village - pass from one hemisphere to the other - views of Breaky Bottom vineyard. Lunch at Rodmell [Abergvenny Arms] and return along the river or by train from Southease.
Meet leader outside Lewes Station at 10.30 am.
Please note there is a short steep climb to the top of the downs behind Kingston.

Starts at 10:45: Outside the front of Lewes Station, East Sussex. Meet at 09:50: Brighton Station for the 10:02 train to Lewes. Scheduled to arrive at 10:17. [Or catch 10:34 arriving at 10:49 we will wait for that train]
