This week's walk explores 2 wonderful hills - Wolstonbury and Newtimber - both of which are managed by the National Trust. Some climbing is involved (these are hills!) but I can guarantee you some magnificent panoramic views and interesting chalkland wildlife, including butterflies. You'll be up close to the tallest native tree (a Beech) in the British Isles and an original donkey wheel! Picnic at Saddlecombe Farm (owned by the National Trust) or lunch at the Hikers Rest Cafe which does wholesome light meals...and mouthwatering cakes!

Meet at Brighton Station to catch the 10:00 train to Hassocks which arrives @ 10:10. The walk will start from the East side of Hassocks station around 10:15. Return from Hassocks where there are regular trains at '05, '32 and '37.

Hope you can make it!
