We are the Brighton and Hove group of the national Ramblers. Walking and socialising in and around the South East of England.

Reminder: 30s-50s Glynde and Lewes Circular - Sunday 7th February 2016

Join me for an attractive walk from Glynde to Lewes via Open Access land, Saxon Down, Cliffe Hill, Malling Hill and Malling Down. Return via Oxteddle Bottom and Caburn. Good views in all directions. Many ascents and descents over the 9.5 mile route. Lunch in Lewes with a choice of cafés and pubs. Moderate pace.

For anyone using public transport please get the 10.12am train from Brighton Station to Glynde (Bexhill). Scheduled to arrive at 10:29am. The starting point is the public car park in Glynde (walk in a northerly direction along the road from the station for a only couple of minutes, and it is just the other side of the river bridge, on the left). There is free parking here for those travelling by car.

I shall be meeting everyone at the starting point, and the aim is to set off promptly after the arrival of the train from Brighton.

Look forward to seeing some of you on Sunday.
