This Thursday the walk will start at the Royal Oak pub, Newick and not at the church, as there is only enough parking for 3 or 4 cars in the lane leading to the church. It is easier to park near the Royal Oak where Church Road becomes wider. Grid reference TQ419212. We shall be walking along Church Road at the start.

There is an overgrown section of the path which is prickly, so shorts are not recommended.
