Following last week's muddy escapade (thanks, Anthony!), and because the Arun valley at Houghton is still waterlogged, I've decided to vary the route this Thursday. THE START LOCATION REMAINS THE SAME. But the new 7-mile route will now take in Houghton Forest and Bignor Hill, via Monarch's Way and the SDW. It offers fine forest walking, stunning downland views, and is relatively mud-free (well it was on the pre-walk last weekend!). Hope to see you there.
