Our AGM this year will be held in the Ascension Church, Mill Rise, Westdene, BN1 5GS on Friday 4 November, beginning at 7.30pm.
This is a new venue for us. But there is ample street parking available in the vicinity. Alternatively the number 27 bus stops at The Deneway, from where it is a short walk up the hill. From Preston Park railway station it is a 15 minute walk.
Please make an effort to attend. The formal notice, incorporating the agenda, is located on the Committee Stuff page. Please print off and bring a copy with you. The minutes of last year's meeting are also there. It would be a great help to the committee if you could also bring a copy with you.
Also on the Committee Stuff page is a nomination form to join the committee. New volunteers are always welcome. Could this be for you? The Walks Programme Co-ordinator (Sundays) and 30s -50s Representative are both standing down this year. There is also a form on the page for use if you would like to put forward a formal motion for the meeting to consider.
After the formal proceedings, there will be a photographic caption competition and the evening will conclude with free wine and nibbles, and a chance to mingle with your fellow ramblers.
