Our AGM this year will be held in the Ascension Church, Mill Rise, Westdene, BN1 5GS on Friday 3rd November, beginning at 7.30pm.
There is ample street parking available in the vicinity. Alternatively the number 27 bus stops at The Deneway, from where it is a short walk up the hill. From Preston Park railway station it is a 15 minute walk.
Please make an effort to attend. The formal notice, incorporating the agenda, can be found on the Committee Stuff page. Please print off and bring a copy with you. The minutes of last year's meeting are also attached. It would be a great help to the committee if you could also bring a copy with you.
Also attached is a nomination form to join the committee. There are potentially four vacancies. New volunteers are therefore needed. Could this be for you? The Chairman and Secretary are both standing down this year, and we are also potentially seeking replacements for the Membership Secretary and the Publicity Secretary.
There is also a form attached for use if you would like to put forward a formal motion for the meeting to consider.
The meeting will be followed with drinks and snacks and the opportunity to socialise.
