I hope you can join me on an attractive 11 mile circular walk at the western end of the High Weald. We will be walking in countryside surrounding the villages of Slaugham, Warninglid and Bolney and crossing through the grounds of Wykehurst Park. Nice views. Pub lunch at The Eight Bells or picnic nearby. I have booked a table for 10 for lunch and have 1 space left so text me or post a comment here if you are interested in booking it (by Saturday 3pm please).
We begin from outside St Mary’s Church, Slaugham (postcode RH17 6AG) at 10.15am. Parking is tight so please car share and park on the street not in the church car park as there is a service at 10.30am. Can people please not block drives - there was a complaint last year about our parking when I led this walk.
Please bring cars to the south end of Preston Park (near to the Rose Garden) for a 9.35am departure. Some members don't have cars and it would be really helpful if any car owners able to offer transport to other people could add a comment here to that effect and also on Meetup
If you check the Meet Up site it will probably say walk full- this obviously doesn't apply to paid up members of the Ramblers as walks are never 'full'!
