The evening walk with Caroline Lucas was a great success.  Over 40 members turned out, and most took the opportunity to chat to our local MP.   She was particularly receptive to Ramblers’ concerns about the completion of the England coastal path, and has promised to raise this with the government.  She also took on board our concerns about local footpath maintenance.

Local path under threat!!

A request to all Ramblers from B & H Footpath Secretary

The existing path in the Roedean area is under challenge, we are informed that this path is not a right of way and in consequence could be closed off and lost to the general public. National Trails Under Threat!

Our National Trails are under threat and we need your help.

The Government is planning to drastically change the way National Trails – including the iconic Pennine Way – are looked after.
