I have been asked by Sussex Rambler magazine to help publicise this event:
On behalf of our Chairman I have organised a charity walk in aid of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity around the countryside of Hurstpierpoint and Wolstonbury Hill. There is a 3km or a 9km route. This charity is important to our Chairman as they successfully treated his 18 month grand daughter for cancer, she is now a bubbly 10 years old.

Please support the first High Weald Walking Festival. The High Weald lies on the eastern edge of the South Downs National Park and we often have walks there. The programme has been put together entirely by volunteers - including several members of Sussex Area committee - on a shoestring budget of £750. What they have produced is fantastic: 36 walks of all types and distances from a 2 mile stroll to a 9.5 mile ramble. There really is something for everyone!
The intention/hope is to…Continue
