Hi, the trains are running fine on Sunday. We will meet at 9 am underneath the indicator board. We will be getting the 9:20 am train direct to rye which arrives at 10:44. Please make sure you have your tickets when meeting as the queue can be quite busy ( don't want to miss the train). Andy F

Thanks for the great walk today, the route was one that I hope we go back to do again some time. Well done for making it all happen despite nobody turning up at the level with cars.

Would you like to have a go at leading a walk for the 40/50's group. If you would please contact Andrew Farquharson at
As its your first time there would be plenty of support and new ideas for you at the above address.
We can also provide a current leader to come along and give you some support should it be needed. The seven sisters is always a good first one to do as there is very little navigation. There are plenty more easy ones as well.

Due to a much more extensive visit to the Dentist yesterday (tooth out and much more)than I expected I'm afraid I'm probably not up to leading a walk this Sunday.
Would anyone be up for leading it. It's a very simple one(see announcement below).
If you can, please just put a announcement on the website to let people know,I would be very grateful ...if nobody can then i am afraid the walk is cancelled.

This walk starts from Hassocks and ends in Lewes.
We meet at Brighton stn at 09:30 to catch the 09:50. There are engineering works this weekend so we Will be travelling on a bus replacement. The Bus arrives at 10:10 at Hassocks.
No pub lunch but can have a tea stop at Lewes.
The weather forecast at present for Sunday is awful but hopefully that will change. If not I will cancel the walk. Watch out in your email and 'Announcements' on Saturday afternoon.
